BLOOMSBURG, PA – Bloomsburg University will be hosting its annual Husky Dog Pound competition for PA middle and high schools on March 21, 2024.

This entrepreneurship shark-tank-like pitch competition will award $10,000 in cash prizes for students and teachers. This a great opportunity for your students.

Students will come to the beautiful BU campus and make a 3-minute pitch on their business idea. All attendees will also be provided a free lunch ticket for the Scranton Commons (AYCE buffet). In addition, faculty will be available to discuss majors and careers.

This is a FREE competition and each district may send 4 teams and a team can have 1-4 members.

Tentative schedule:

8:00 am – 12:20 pm: MS/High School Competition Sutliff Hall.

8:30-11:30-Campus Tours and Info sessions on majors.

11-1:30-Lunch Scranton Commons.

1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: High school students assemble in Carver Hall-Gross Auditorium for the award ceremony.
