Valentine’s Day at the GNA Art Club
GNA CAMPUS – In honor of Valentine’s Day, the GNA art club made valentines, both for a fundraiser and to benefit the community.
The block-printed card designs were made by art club students and sold for $1 a piece the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. From these sales, the Art Club gained approximately $100 in order to fund future projects and activities.
In addition to the fundraiser, they filled 125 cards with special messages and sent them to the residents at Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Each resident received a personalized valentine made with love and care.
The GNA Art Club continues to brighten up the community and make a difference where it can.
