What are your hobbies outside of school?
- Resident Star Wars expert
- I like to read.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
- I played hoops against Kobe Bryant and Rip Hamilton during my senior year at the Keystone State Games.
If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be? Why?
- Larry Bird. He is the only professional athlete I ever looked up to and still respect to this day.
What is your favorite band – or – who is your favorite singer?
- Led Zeppelin
What is your favorite song of all time?
- Enter Sandman- Metallica
What is your favorite place to eat?
- Marty’s Blue Room
What is the most unique place you’ve ever visited? Why?
- The Hawaiian island of Kauai. It is the least commercially developed of all the Hawaiian islands and the mountains, waterfalls, and scenic drives were amazing.
Do you have any pets? If so, what are they?
- A dog named Jasmine and a cat named Dummie.
What is the most outrageous thing that has happened to you while teaching?
- I would tell you, but then you’d know. 🙂
What is your biggest pet peeve?
- Social media stupidity
What inspired you to become a teacher?
- When I was younger, I had so much respect for the teachers who helped me along the way. I thought nothing could be better than to stand on their shoulder and help kids in the same way they helped me.
What do you like most about teaching?
- I like pushing kids to be a little better than they could have been on their own, and I enjoy seeing them set goals for themselves and working hard to achieve them.
What is your biggest piece of advice for students?
- Get your nose out of your phone! If you look up you will notice that your life is happening right in front of you.
