On April 10th, 2018, students from Greater Nanticoke Area competed in Bloomsburg University’s 23rd Annual High School Programming Contest. Approximately 60 teams total competed in the event with Nanticoke having 3 teams in the competition. Students had 3 hours to complete up to 10 programs which can be found here Program Descriptions 2018. These programs challenged students to use their knowledge of programming concepts including sentinel values, various control structures, arrays, string manipulations, methods, and other logical processes to collaboratively develop code that when run, with the required input, provides the required output as the solution.

Below is a list of the students who completed:

Team (816%-9) / 2   (who took 16th Place out of the 60 teams)
Chance Peterson
Daniel Shevchenko

It is always a wonderful opportunity to chaperone students to these worthwhile events!
