Monday, February 26th and Thursday, March 1st were very special days for the kindergarten and first grade students at K.M. Smith Elementary School.

Students were ecstatic to see the boys and girls basketball teams, as well as the cheerleaders, read their favorite Dr. Seuss books for Dr. Seuss week 2018.

The children also competed against their peers in a coloring contest judged by the GNA cheerleaders. They received books, crayons, and stars (for their reward system) as a grand prize and could not be any more excited.

Dr. Seuss week was an extreme success! Thank you to the boys and girls basketball teams as well as the cheerleading squad for their generous time and kindness with our students.
