Trojanette softball looking forward to another successful season

Trojanette+softball+looking+forward+to+another+successful+season

The history of Trojanette softball has been nothing less than stellar in the recent years. Another upcoming season means that expectations are once again high. Losing five key seniors who played a huge role in the Trojanette’s conference tittle last year will give the 2018 softball team all the motivation they need.

This year, the Trojanette’s will have to rally around their two seniors, each of whom are four year starters. GNA will rely on their returning talented players including Miranda Bohn, Megan Murphy, Brinley Sobeck, Gabby Rakowski, and Jilann Baron.

Will the Trojanette’s be ready for another post season run? I’m sure if you ask them, they are only focused on the game ahead.

The GNA Insider sat down to talk with head coach Ryan Stetz about the 2018 softball season:

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?

We would like to continue the strong tradition of Nanticoke Softball by playing hard, having fun, and compete and win every game of an extremely difficult schedule.

Who are your key players this season?

The key to our season starts with excellent pitching, consistent defense, fast paced, and risk taking offense. We will be an exciting team to follow. We return the following starters.

-Megan Murphy, SR.

-Miranda Bohn, SR. (Returning MVP and all star first team)

– Brinley Sobeck, JR.

– Gabby Rakowski, Soph.
