Many students think that being an athlete is easy. Well, they are wrong ! Becoming an athlete is a very difficult thing to do.  People do not always realize how much athletes have to do. Many students like playing sports, but the problem is that not many students realize that playing organized athletics is much different.

Playing sports in general is a pretty difficult task. Balancing athletics and academics and budgeting time is a life-long lesson and not easy to do. Maintaining high grades is hard enough, but when you have to deal with late practices and games, it becomes a demanding task.

Athletes need to be extremely dedicated and have a passion for their sport and their school. Playing a sport gives one a sense or pride and allows the individual to realize that they are fighting for something larger than themselves.
